A 38-year-old woman was stabbed to death at her home on Monday, September 6 in the morning in Montélimar, in the Drôme, by her ex-spouse from whom she had been separated for a few weeks, we learned from the parquet.
The four children of the victim, aged 5 to 15, and whose eldest had signs of injury, partially attended the scene, according to the public prosecutor in Valence, Alex Perrin, confirming information from the daily regional “Le Dauphiné Libéré”.
It is currently unknown whether the 37-year-old assailant is their father. Injured in one hand, he had to be hospitalized and “His medical condition did not allow his hearing”, said Alex Perrin in a press release at the end of the afternoon.
