Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan passed away. He was 74 years old. The ‘meteorologist’ of politics, Paswan was a member of the upper house of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha. During the political innings, Paswan was also credited with promoting familism and a suit-booted Dalit leader. His personal life was also criticized and the opposition parties made a point. Of this, there are movable assets worth Rs 1.6 crore and jewelery worth Rs 21.30 lakh. He also said that about 82 lakh rupees are deposited in his bank account. Originally from the town of Banni village in Khagaria, Paswan was a law graduate from Patna University and also did an MA. Paswan, who was a six-time cabinet minister, had an interesting personal life. They had two weddings. The first marriage was to Princess Devi, who hails from a rural background. He divorced her in 1981 and remarried to Reena Sharma. Reena was an air hostess by profession and the two met during a journey.
Paswan’s first wife Rajkumari Devi stays at his ancestral residence. Paswan has two daughters from his first wife, Asha and Usha. While he has two children, Chirag Paswan and a daughter from second wife Reena. Reena lives in Delhi.
Chirag Paswan, owner of property more than father: According to the affidavit filed by Chirag Paswan Net Worth during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he owned more property than his father. In the affidavit, he had declared his total assets at Rs 1.85 crore. Of which 23.40 lakh rupees were deposited in his bank accounts at that time. While he also had shares worth Rs 35.91 lakh. Apart from this, Chirag also has a house worth Rs 90 lakh.
