Bihar Election 2020: Voting for the last phase will be held tomorrow (on 7 November) in the Bihar Assembly elections. The credibility of many veterans and political parties is at stake in this assembly election. This assembly election will also determine the political future of LJP and Chirag Paswan. This time the Lok Janshakti Party is alone in the electoral arena. The LJP is contesting without Ram Vilas Paswan this time.
The responsibility of the party rests with the national president Chirag Paswan. However, Chirag Paswan is getting along well with cousin and LJP state president Prince Raj. Prince Raj is the nephew of Ram Vilas Paswan, son of Ram Vilas Paswan’s brother Ramchandra Paswan. After the death of Ramchandra Paswan, Prince Raj reached Parliament by winning the by-election from Samastipur Lok Sabha seat.
Prince Raj is the owner of crores of property: According to the affidavit given during the by-election for Samastipur Lok Sabha seat in 2019, Prince Raj is the owner of movable and immovable property worth Rs 1.65 crore. According to the election affidavit, Chirag Paswan’s cousin Prince Raj has movable assets worth Rs 63 lakh and immovable assets worth Rs 1.02 crore. At that time he had 1.5 lakh rupees as cash.
Prince Raj also owns agricultural land. Not only this, Prince Raj also has jewelery worth 8.5 lakh rupees. According to the election affidavit, Prince Raj has a Ford car which was valued at Rs 31 lakh. Apart from this, Prince Raj also had a liability of Rs 20 lakh during the Samastipur Lok Sabha by-election.
Prince owns less property than Chirag and Krishna Raj: Chirag Paswan had assets worth Rs 1.85 crore as per the election affidavit given while contesting from Jamui Lok Sabha seat during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Prince Raj’s brother Krishna Raj is also contesting from Rosda assembly seat this time. According to the election affidavit, Krishna Raj also has assets worth about 1.85 crores.
Prince Raj owns property less than his cousin Chirag Paswan and brother Krishna Raj. Let me tell you that Prince Raj has studied BBA from Madurai Kamaraj University and MSc in International Business from Hertfordshire University London.
