The same electric vehicle platform as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, but the GV60 belongs to the high-end segment.
Currently, Hyundai’s luxury brand has not announced the technical characteristics, such as battery capacity or journey per full charge of the GV60. The appearance of the electric car is crossover-style with the same proportions as the Ioniq and EV6. But the long and rounded bonnet, the fastback-style tail with the spoiler, the not too large ground clearance make the GV60 look more like a tall hatchback than a crossover.
GV60 features Genesis’ Athletic Elegance design language, including split headlights on each side, the same style as the taillights, and a low-lying shield grille to increase the aggressive look.
The GV60’s interior is very Genesis-inspired, with a crystal ball gearshift lever, and silver infotainment system knob, and cobalt blue leather with elements borrowed from the G80 and GV80 models. For the first time, Genesis uses a digital rearview mirror with external cameras, and the image is displayed in the upper part of two screens at the base of the A-pillar.
From Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, Genesis GV60 can be equipped with a battery pack of 58-77.7 kWh. The journey per full charge is expected to be more than 483 km. More details such as price, performance, will be announced in the coming months.
