Most Android smartphones will automatically update the Google app on Sunday. However, if automatic updates are disabled, you will have to do this manually through the Google Play store.
First, open Google Play and type in the Google keyword search box, then click Update to update (if available). In case the problem is still not fixed, users just need to completely uninstall the Google app on the phone.
