Bihar Election 2020: After the death of Ram Vilas Paswan, the responsibility of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has fallen on the shoulders of his son Chirag Paswan. The Lok Janshakti Party left the NDA just before the assembly elections. Now LJP is contesting the assembly elections alone. His nephew Krishna Raj from Ramvilas Paswan’s family is also in the fray. He is contesting on the LJP ticket from Rosda assembly seat in Samastipur district. Krishna Raj is the son of Ram Vilas Paswan’s brother Ramchandra Paswan, Krishna Raj’s brother Prince Raj is the state president of LJP.

Chirag Paswan’s cousin Krishna Raj is facing a triangular contest in Rosda assembly seat. In the Rosada Assembly seat, Krishna Raj is pitted against Birendra Kumar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Nagendra Kumar Vikal of the Congress. Please tell that his father Ramchandra Paswan has been an MP from Samastipur twice. His son Prince Raj was elected as an MP from Samastipur in the by-election held after his death.

The owners of crores of property are: According to the election affidavit, Krishna Raj has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 1.85 crore. This includes movable assets worth Rs 48.24 lakh and immovable assets worth Rs 1.37 crore. He has Rs 1.55 lakh in cash. There is also a gold chain and ring worth 10 lakh rupees. Apart from this, there is also agricultural land in the name of Krishna Raj.

Property is as much as a lamp: Let us tell you that according to the affidavit filed by Chirag Paswan during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he also had a total property of Rs 1.85 crore. That is, Krishna Raj is the owner of the property as much as Chirag has it. Let us tell you that Krishna Raj has done his BBA from Madurai Kamaraj University, besides he has done diploma in Acting from Asian Academy of Film and Television Noida.

Chirag is also promoting Krishna Raj: The LJP has fielded candidates in a few seats in front of the BJP. Rosda is also one of those seats. On 29 October, Chirag reached Rosda seeking a vote for his cousin Krishna Raj. Addressing a public meeting at Bhiraha, Rosra, Chirag Paswan appealed to the public to win Krishna Raj. Chirag also targeted the Nitish Kumar government over the Munger firing and termed the Munger incident as shameful, saying, “Mahishasuri government opened fire on the devotees of Mother Durga.” He also targeted Nitish Kumar for smuggling liquor.
