The CR-V model continues to reduce the price of all versions, the highest is the L version with a cash discount of up to VND 125 million.
The discount program is applied in September and can be extended to October, offered by Honda dealers. In Hanoi, agents reduce the price of the L version by about VND 100-125 million. However, this reduction is not uniform among distributors. In general, in the North, cars are reduced by about 45-85 million, of which the lower the version, the less the reduction.
In addition to the cash discount, dealers also give additional accessories with a value of 30-70 million VND depending on the version, customers cannot convert accessories to cash. These accessories include: glass stickers, leather floor coverings, dash cams, underbody covers… or some agents can be converted to one year body insurance.
Currently, all versions are available for delivery, but the LSE version may have a longer wait and a lower cash discount, depending on the dealer.
CR-V is Honda’s C-sized crossover model that was very successful when it launched a new version in 2018, with the advantage of 5 + 2 seats and many equipment. CR-V ranks second in the segment in 2020. However, in a recent year, CR-V has lost to rivals CX-5 and Tucson in terms of sales.
In the segment, in addition to CR-V continuously offering price and promotional offers, the Tucson model is also recently being reduced by about 60 million in cash, Outlander about 45-60 million for each version.
The decline in sales of the car market, less customer demand due to the epidemic and the distance caused car manufacturers to race to launch incentives and promotions. Recently, Honda dealers have also offered a discount of up to 25 million in cash for the City model to increase competitiveness with competitors in the segment.
