However, there are times when you’ll find the Sign out option grayed out. How to fix the above situation? If you’re using an iPad or a MacBook, you just need to do the same.

1. Turn off Screen Time (usage time) feature on iPhone, iPad

Screen Time feature was first introduced by Apple in iOS 12, allowing users to limit the usage of apps, which is especially useful in the case of your home with children.

To turn off Screen Time (usage time), please go to Settings (settings) – Screen Time – Turn Off Screen Time (turn off screen time), enter the password when is required.

Disable Screen Time feature on iPhone.

Next, users just need to go back to Settings (settings) – Account name, then scroll down and click Sign out to sign out of the iCloud account. If it still doesn’t work, reboot the device.

2. Turn off the Screen Time feature on the MacBook

First, open System Preferences (system preferences) – Screen Time – Turn Off and follow the on-screen instructions.
