AmericaThe Korean automaker launched the EV9 concept with a 3-row configuration, like the electric version of the E-size SUV, Kia Telluride.
The Kia EV9 is a preview of the Kia brand’s largest high-rise model in the near future.
The Kia EV9 concept is considered an electric version of the Telluride, an E-segment SUV. Kia says that the design of the EV9 concept is inspired by stones and crystals. The lines on the car are therefore square and muscular. EV9 is 4,930 mm long, 2,055 mm wide, 1,790 mm high, 3,100 mm wheelbase.
The EV9 concept does not use a traditional rearview mirror. Instead, a digital camera transmits data to two screens inside the car mounted in column A. The cockpit is fitted with a large 27-inch infotainment screen.
With a design aimed at high-end customers, Kia EV9 offers 3 ways to set up seats. In addition to the traditional structure, Pause Mode allows the first and third rows of seats to face each other, the second row of seats folded down to form a table.
Enjoy Mode allows the third row of seats to rotate 180 degrees to the rear. When the back door opens, guests can enjoy the outside space, a design similar to the super-luxury model Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
Kia has not specified how many kWh the battery pack is on the car, but it is expected to have a range of about 482 km, charging time of 10-80% of the battery in less than 30 minutes. The Korean automaker will produce a commercial version of the EV9 concept but has not set a specific time. The company’s plan to 2026, its electric vehicle product range will have 11 names.
