On July 7, the Italian supercar company introduced the Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae to the world. Anniversary edition supercar with the iconic V12 internal combustion engine and final production model. The LP780-4 Ultimae focuses on the pure features of the Aventador line. The new supercar inherits performance from the SVJ, looks from the Aventador S and dynamics from both coupe and roadster lines.
Super production is limited to 600 units, of which 350 coupes and 250 roadsters. Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae is equipped with a vertical 6.5 V12 engine, capacity of 780 horsepower at 8,500 rpm, maximum torque of 720 Nm at 6,750 rpm, combined with 4-wheel drive. Compared to Aventador S, the power of Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae is 40 hp more and 10 hp more powerful than SVJ.
The carbon fiber monocoque frame increases rigidity and is lighter than the Aventador LP780-4, along with the use of more carbon fiber throughout the body, resulting in a dry weight of only 1,550 kg. The coupe version is 25 kg lighter than the Aventador S, carries the same weight-to-power ratio as the SVJ at 1.98 kg/hp, accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, up from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. 0-200 km / h in 8.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 355 km / h (on the coupe model).
The Ultimae version uses a 4-wheel steering system, similar to the Aventador S, for flexibility at low and medium speeds, and enhanced stability at high speeds. Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) is mounted on the front axle and fine-tuned for more responsiveness and realism, and adjusted to integrate with active rear wheel steering on the rear axle.
Aerodynamic design appearance. The rear spoiler belongs to the active aerodynamic system that moves into 3 positions, depending on speed and driving mode. ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) 7-speed independent gearshift system, supports quick gearshift. The special edition supercar has driving mode options such as Strada, Sport and Corsa. Particularly in EGO mode, it allows optimal setting of the LMS active suspension, traction control (engine, transmission and 4-wheel drive) as well as the steering system.
