The new Countach shares the platform with the Sián launched in 2019, besides the carbon fiber monocoque and uses the same V12 mild hybrid engine with a reduced capacity of 4 horsepower, at 803 horsepower, 4-wheel drive, True to the name 800-4.
More specifically, the naturally aspirated 6.5 V12 engine placed vertically has a capacity of 769 horsepower, combined with a 48 V electric motor with a capacity of 34 horsepower inside a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Like the Sián, the energy from the regenerative braking system is stored in a supercapacitor that is lighter than a traditional lithium-ion battery.
The Italian supercar company announced the acceleration time from 0-100 km / h is only 2.8 seconds, from 0-200 km / h in 8.6 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 355 km / h. This speed is on par with the Sián and Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae.
