The new generation luxury SUV model revealed its design, developed from the Land Cruiser 2022, launched online on October 13.
Lexus released a short video and a photo revealing some design details of the new LX. The image is quite clear of the rear of the SUV with L-shaped taillights connected to the LED strip. The emblem replaces it with the word Lexus, while the LX600 badging on the trunk door confirms the new model and name.
Follow Carscoops, LX600 is developed based on the GA-F platform of the new generation Toyota Land Cruiser (LC300) brothers. Lexus’ flagship SUV will be equipped with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, with a capacity of 409 horsepower and maximum torque of 650 Nm like the LC300.
In addition, the company also revealed the LX750h version using a hybrid powertrain, a gasoline engine with an electric motor, capacity of 480 horsepower, torque of 871 Nm. Both versions are equipped with a two-wheel drive system combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
As planned, the Lexus LX600 will launch online on October 13 in the UAE and Russia. Then the luxury SUV was introduced in the US market in the first half of 2022.
The current LX belongs to the third generation, launched in 2007, over 14 years, the SUV model underwent three upgrades in 2010, 2012 and 2015.
