Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E-Performance – high performance green car

The hybrid model has a capacity of 831 horsepower, which is a direct rival to the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-hybird.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E-Performance high-performance rechargeable hybrid is the most powerful commercial product the German automaker has ever produced. The electric motor equipped on the vehicle can operate independently.

The power of the new AMG GT 4-door sedan is a 4-liter turbocharged V8 engine, combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic all-time drive system. Vehicles combined with an electric motor and battery assembly, transmit power to the rear axle through a separate two-speed gearbox, integrated with an electronically controlled rear differential lock.

The electric motor cluster has a capacity of 201 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The powertrain can transfer torque to the front wheels if it detects slippage in the rear wheels. Combined, the GT 63 S-Performance has a combined output of 831 hp and 1,400 Nm, outperforming the SLS AMG Electric Drive, the company’s most powerful road car, and more powerful than rival Porsche. Panamera Turbo S E-hybird 141 hp.

GT 63 S E-Performance is capable of traveling at speeds up to 140 km/h using an electric motor. However, the 6.1 kW battery pack is only enough to provide power for a distance of 12 km. Vehicles equipped with electric motor driving mode, and four modes of regenerative braking energy.

The AMG Ride Control+ adaptive suspension is standard equipment. The car uses AMG carbon ceramic brake assemblies. Mercedes’ model will go on sale in Europe in early 2022, but the price has not been disclosed.
