NBA: Durant on the return, Harden forfeit ten days with the Nets

Kevin Durant is due to return from injury this week with the Brooklyn Nets as his teammate James Harden, injured in the right thigh, withdrew for ten days.

Durant is being announced as “likely” for the meeting against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, which would be his first game since Feb. 13, following a hamstring injury. “James Harden had an MRI today (Tuesday) which revealed a contracture in the right hamstring,” explained the club’s 2018 MVP.

“Harden will continue to treat his contracture and will be reviewed in about ten days.” “The Beard” left the floor after just four minutes of play Monday against the New York Knicks, complaining of the right thigh. The 31-year-old had been spared in the previous two matches to already spare his painful leg.

The Nets acquired Harden in January, a sensational move to feature a “Big Three” in their squad composed with the other two stars Durant and Kyrie Irving.
