New generation Ducati Multistrada V4 priced from 770 million


The road motorcycle model is equipped with a front-rear radar system to help detect blind spots and adaptive cruise control like a car.

Ducati distributor in Vietnam has just launched the new generation Multistrada large adventure series. This is Ducati’s next model using the company’s latest generation of V4 engine with many driving support features like a car.

The Multistrada V4 version will replace the predecessor Multistrada 1260, the most advanced variant of the Multistrada multi-terrain motorcycle. The appearance of Multistrada V4 has been redesigned with more angular blocks. The car is equipped with LED headlights with a new daytime navigation strip.

Multistrada is built on a tubular steel grid foundation. The front suspension is inverted and adjustable. Seat height 840-860 mm, depending on the level of adjustment of the user. Wet car weight at 240 kg. Fuel tank capacity 22 liters.

Ducati’s model installs dual disc brakes on the front wheel and a single disc on the rear wheel. A 5-inch TFT color screen between the handlebars is standard equipment. Multistrada is the first model in the world to use front and rear radar systems to detect blind spots, measure distances, and serve adaptive cruise control (automatic throttle), a type of equipment usually available on car.

The engine used on the new Ducati Multistrada is a Granturismo with a capacity of 1,158 cc, a capacity of 170 horsepower at 10,500 rpm and maximum torque of 125 Nm at 8,750 rpm. Routine oil changes are scheduled every 15,000 km, and routine maintenance (Desmo) every 60,000 km.

The above maintenance kilometers are longer than the old engine generation. Multistrada V4 is currently the model with the longest maintenance milestone in the large road motorcycle segment.

Complementing the driver is a series of safety features on Ducati Multistrada such as ABS when cornering, IMU inertia measurement sensor, traction control, and loading control. The V4 and V4 S versions have a similar design, different in the accompanying equipment. The V4 S version is fitted with an electronically adjustable fork, a 330 mm front brake disc (10 mm larger than the regular version), a 6.5-inch screen, a quick gearshift system, cornering headlights, cruise control adaptation, multimedia connectivity and mapping.

Multistrada V4 standard version sold in Vietnam for 770 million VND. The V4 S version of the spokes rim costs 899 million VND and the cast rim is 927 million VND. The car competes directly with the BMW R 1250 GS, priced from VND 630 million. Both are imported from Thailand.
