Nissan Almera adds a sport version, priced from 20,200 USD

A year after launching the new generation in the country of golden pagodas, the Japanese automaker added more options for customers with the Almera Sportech sport version, increasing its competitiveness with rivals such as Toyota Vios, Mazda2, Hyundai Accent .

The new Almera Sportech is sold with two versions including 1.0 V and 1.0 VL. Compared to the standard version, the Sportech version is equipped with a sporty bodykit with new front and rear bumpers, both silver accents. Glossy black grille combined with chrome trim. The rear of the car has a Sportech logo to distinguish it, a silver exterior mirror cover with integrated turn signals and a set of 15-inch rims with a sporty V-shaped design.

The interior uses more advanced materials with the dominant black color. The dashboard and door panels are all wrapped in synthetic leather, decorated with gray stitching. Felt seats are decorated with contrasting stitching. The air vents are painted piano black with dark gray trim. 8-inch infotainment screen with Nissan Connect system, support for Apple CarPlay connection, 6-speaker audio.

The car uses a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 100 horsepower at 5,000 rpm, maximum torque of 152 Nm from 2,400-4,000 rpm. The engine integrates automatic engine shutdown technology to save fuel. Vehicles equipped with CVT Xtronic transmission.

The Japanese automaker adds new safety technologies such as a forward collision warning system, intelligent emergency brake support, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and 360 camera.

Nissan Almera Sportech $20,200 for the 1.0 V version and $21,200 for the 1.0 VL version. While the standard Almara V version costs from $ 19,300.

Nissan Almera is also known as Sunny in some markets, such as Vietnam. But about the next 1-2 months, when the car is launched in the Vietnamese market, it will also use the Almera name like in Thailand, erasing the Sunny name, which was not positive in sales in the previous generation.
