The 7-seater SUV model jointly developed by the Navara pickup platform, competing with Toyota Fortuner will be launched on November 25.
After the launch of the Navara facelift, Nissan continues to launch an upgraded Terra SUV mid-cycle 2021 in November. The new Nissan Terra continues to use the same chassis platform with Navara, the body-on-frame structure (body- on-frame), similar to Toyota with Fortuner (based on Hilux pickup), Ford with Everest (based on Ranger) or Isuzu with mu-X (based on D-Max).
The Nissan teaser shows a change in the headlight design with a 4-LED beam similar to the new Navara. The taillights also have a new shape, no longer monotonous like the predecessor.
If following the design of Nissan on Terra and Navara current generations, the new version of the 7-seater SUV shares many similarities with a pickup, both in the body and the cockpit. However, with the specificity of a car that favors passenger operations, the steering wheel and some other Terra designs may be softer than Navara.
There is no information about the engine on the Nissan Terra 2021 that will change. In Vietnam, Terra reaches domestic consumers with two engine options: 2.5 liter oil and petrol, 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic, priced at 848-998 million VND.
From October 1, Nisssan car in Vietnam has a new distributor, Vietnam Motor Industry Development Company (VAD), replacing Tan Chong Group (Malaysia). Currently Nissan 2019 cars are being deeply discounted to push inventory, including Terra.
Nissan Terra is an SUV model that was first introduced by the Japanese company at the Auto China exhibition in 2018. Vehicles are assembled at two Nissan factories in China and Thailand. In Latin, Terra means “earth”.
