Only 3 simple steps to immediately block messages from strangers on Zalo, without worrying about being disturbed

Zalo application has now become a familiar means of communication for many people. However, sometimes there is a situation of receiving messages from strangers or advertising messages to buy and sell SIM phones … making you tired.

If you are a lover of using Zalo to connect with certain friends, you must not ignore tips or block messages from strangers on Zalo. It is not difficult to block these messages. You do it in the following way:

Go to Zalo Settings > Privacy > Swipe left option to turn off Receive messages from strangers.

Step 1: Go to Zalo Settings, finished from the main interface of the software, click on the three dots icon in the top corner of the screen. Then click on the padlock icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.

The privacy settings section displays then, the user navigates to the Receive messages from strangers section. Swipe from right to left to Deactivate receiving messages from strangers. Switch from On > Off.

Step 2: Another way is in the message interface from strangers on Zalo, click the Block button > OK to confirm blocking messages from strangers on Zalo.

Step 3: After blocking the message of strangers on Zalo, to verify you can use another phone number that has not been friended with the current Zalo account and send Zalo messages through the friend feature.

When entering a chat message, you will receive the following message: “You cannot send messages to this person because this person is blocked from receiving messages from strangers”. So you have successfully blocked strangers from sending messages to you.
