Sign language helps the deaf to shop for technology

With just 3 simple steps, deaf people will have access to smart technology items.

According to statistics by 2019, there are about 1.5-2 million deaf people in Vietnam. They are a group of people who can rarely interact or share about their problems and difficulties. They must depend on a third party person or family member to support communication.

When they want to access smart technology items to serve their lives, it is very difficult for them to find a place to receive support and exchange information. They also have an online approach, but this method also has certain limitations when very few online counselors know how to use sign language to communicate with them via video call.

Deaf people will be supported by sign language when buying Samsung technology products.

Faced with this situation, Samsung has just announced a “sign language” program. Accordingly, they will actively communicate and contact about all issues related to Samsung products for this target group.

Hearing impaired people in need can follow the instructions as follows:

Step 1: Go to Samsung’s support page, click “Sign Language” button in the contact information section.

Step 2: Click the “Get Started” button to connect a video call with a sign language agent.

Step 3: Talk online with a sign language consultant about Samsung products and services.
