Took advantage of Congress for many years and now raising questions? Owaisi was furious over this question

AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi was asked a question by Rajat Sharma about the Congress. This angered him so much that he started making personal remarks.

In view of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, political rhetoric has also intensified. Recently, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave the example of Chandragupta Maurya and said that history remembers ‘Alexander the Great’ but forgets Chandragupta Maurya who defeated Alexander. Now AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s reaction has come on this. He said that a factory of fake history is being run in the name of history. Because Chandragupta and Alexander have never faced each other in history.

Amidst the political turmoil, an old interview of Asaduddin Owaisi with senior journalist Rajat Sharma is going viral. In this interview, Rajat Sharma had asked such a question to Owaisi, after hearing which he became very angry. He had asked, ‘You took advantage of Congress for many years and now you are questioning it?’ In response to this, the AIMIM chief says, ‘Don’t talk about profit or loss in Jamhooriyat. If I say that Rajat Sharma worked in some other TV channel and took advantage, will it be correct?’

Asaduddin Owaisi further says, ‘You have this ability. That’s why you are considered. You ask prying questions. Now you are making such an allegation that I took advantage. You tell me what benefit I have taken? There is a royal in my fakiri too. I am not a Muslim leader. The leaders of Muslims are Mulayam Singh and Manmohan Singh. Today, even after having such a population, we are nowhere to be seen. We have a similar condition with Dalits. Look at the figures in Maharashtra, how many Muslims are below the poverty line.

Let us tell you, Asaduddin Owaisi has made it clear that this time he will field his candidate in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. In this sequence, he was going to come to Meerut on Saturday to hold a public meeting. But the administration did not allow them. Angry activists later termed it as a conspiracy by the administration. Significantly, in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, AIMIM had fielded candidates on 38 seats, out of which 37 were forfeited. After winning five seats in Bihar, Owaisi had expressed hope of winning maximum seats this time.
