Tops / Flops Racing-Toulouse: Palu and Racing strong, Toulouse indiscipline is expensive

After a first half to the advantage of Stade Toulousain, the Racingmen showed a whole new face to win this Sunday (27-18). Find the Tops and Flops of the match.

Boris Palu, the nice surprise
Author of a double (18th and 54th), the second row of Racing, Boris Palu, showed the full extent of his potential. Aggressive in defense and conqueror in the offensive phases, the French international crossed the Toulouse goal line twice. Palu played a terrible trick at his hometown club …

Kurtley Beale awaits his benchmark match
Positioned in the center, Kurtley Beale struggled against his direct opponents, Pita Ahki and Zack Holmes. Sanctioned by a yellow card 10 minutes from the end of the first half, the Australian is still awaiting his reference match at the start of the season. Alongside his captain, Henry Chavancy, he did not know how to get up to speed in defense to counter the onslaught of the Toulouse attack.

With the first try of the game signed Arthur Bonneval, Toulouse got into the best shape from the first 10 minutes. In the lead at the break (10-13 MT), Ugo Mola’s players did not yet put the necessary ingredients to maintain their advantage. Undisciplined on several occasions not far from the Ile-de-France goal line, they paid dearly for their mistakes …
