Adarsh Kant Shukla, a resident of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, has cleared the UPSC exam in his very first attempt. Adarsh got 149 rank and got selected for IPS.
With the declaration of UPSC Result 2020, celebrations started in the family of successful candidates. One such family belongs to Radh Kant Shukla of Barabanki, as his son Adarsh secured 149 rank in UPSC CSE-2020. Adarsh Kant Shukla of Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh has cleared UPSC in his very first attempt. The most important thing is that Adarsh never joined any coaching and now he is going to become an IPS soon.
Adarsh has given full credit for his success to his parents. Adarsh’s father had come to Barabanki from the village 20 years ago with the dream of a better life. He belongs to a simple family. Radha Kant comes from the flood-affected tehsil of Barabanki. Presently he is serving as Accountant in GST Department in a private firm. Adarsh’s mother Geeta Shukla is a housewife. Geeta raised her son Adarsh and daughter Sneha in difficult circumstances at home.
Radha Kant had shifted to the district headquarters. Earlier he lived in a rented house. However, over time he had built his own house in Mayur Bihar Colony. Adarsh’s father said that his son made his dream come true. Radha Kant said that he also wanted to become an IPS officer, but he could not do so due to financial constraints. Now his son has done it.
Ideal for Gold Medalists: Adarsh was very smart in studies from the very beginning. He topped the high and intermediate exams. Adarsh was awarded the Gold Medal for his outstanding performance during his graduation. Adarsh has done Bsc from National PG College located in Lucknow. At the age of 21, Adarsh gave the UPSC exam. His sister Sneha is studying law.
Former IAS and Congress spokesperson PL Punia also reached Adarsh’s house to congratulate him and wished him a bright future. Apart from this, many other political parties and veterans have congratulated Adarsh on social media.
