Phongsubthavy Group will be prioritized by VinFast to become the exclusive distribution partner of vehicles in Laos, during the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the two sides, on June 28.
According to the agreement, the two sides pledged to discuss and consider the possibility of Phongsubthvy Group becoming the exclusive distributor of VinFast cars in the Lao market. The representative of this group also wants to deploy the VinFast car distribution system, in order to diversify and increase options for the people of the land of millions of elephants.
On the side of VinFast, this business made a commitment that if Phongsubthavy meets the conditions and standards of finance, personnel, sales, investment prospects, etc., the group will be a priority partner of VinFast. in business expansion in Laos. “We choose VinFast because it has made good growth steps in the past time, creating a Vietnamese car company on the journey to conquer the world. This cooperation will contribute to bringing VinFast cars to the Lao market quickly,” he said. Phongsavath Senaphuan, Chairman of Phongsubthavy Group said.
Hoang Chi Trung, the new General Director of VinFast, said that the company always prioritizes international development and cooperation, believing that Phongsubthavy will be a partner to help VinFast cars get closer to users in Laos.
Phongsubthavy is one of the leading corporations in Laos, operating in the fields of construction, real estate, energy and commerce. In recent years, this group has cooperated with Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) to export electricity from Laos to Vietnam.
Earlier this year, VinFast introduced the first three electric car models, VF e34, e35 and e36, with a vision to become a global smart electric car company. The company’s new products are expected to be sold to international markets such as the US, Canada, Europe… in 2022.
