What is the whole matter?: Swami Prasad Maurya is alleged to have made a controversial statement in 2014, in which he had said, ‘Gauri-Ganesh should not be worshiped in marriages’. This is a conspiracy to mislead Dalits and backwards to enslave them in the Manuwadi system. The arrest warrant was issued in the year 2016 itself for this alleged controversial statement of Maurya, but then he took a stay from the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court.

Maurya did not appear in court again: Swami Prasad Maurya was to appear before the court on Wednesday, a day after resigning from the ministerial post but he did not turn up. Now the Additional Chief Magistrate MP-MLA has issued an arrest warrant against him and the date of hearing has been fixed on January 24.
